[He doesn't need to elaborate if he doesn't want to. As far as Claude's concerned just passing out after the experience of being down there was a valid enough reason. It's worse than Ailell down on the surface.]

I don't know if we'll be going back to.... the surface exactly? They've mentioned a city but I haven't gotten a lot of information that's particularly made sense without a bit more context.

You don't think it would be a city up here, do you?

[ He does not look pleased at the thought of it. Being up here just doesn't suit him at all. He wants grass, trees, a real breeze. ]

I've never seen anything like....... most of this. I really don't know what to expect any more.

[ He lets out a grunt of agreement. He would do well to follow Claude's lead and do the same so he doesn't get overwhelmed. At least when he left the mountains he found that the lower lands were similar in their innovations. People rode horses, cloth was made on looms, the food was all normal. This place is nothing of the sort. ]

I should expect the unexpected. One really cannot plan for what's next in this place.

Gotta learn what we can before we can plan for anything.

[It's frustrating but it's what he's resigned himself to for now. He hates being the one reacting instead of taking action himself, even if that action is to wait.]

I'm hoping once we make it down to the city things will be a little more familiar.
