It's not about gods, not really. It's about belief. If you put your everything into something you fight for it, even if it turns out to be wrong. Or harmful. Anything you make a part of your identity like that.

We've been kidnapped to a completely foreign world and they plan to use us as... some sort of magical fuel source. I think a few heavy conversations are to be expected.
